It was a cold and blustery night. We missed our stop on the street car and arrived late to extra virgin. Our waitress, light of this earth, took our order promptly. Falafel: to die for. Hummus: balanced and delightful. Chicken: fall off the bone tender. Chickpea fries: a tower of delectable yummy. Will be back

One of the best places for happy hour. So many delicious items to select from. Can't beat the price anywhere else! You get a lot of food for very little money. Food is terrific and the drinks are tasty. The wood fired pizza had the perfect cheese pull. Gotta end the night with airy churros and chocolate. Highly recommend.

Our original plan was to visit during happy hour on Monday, but it was fully booked when we arrived! We ended up coming back for dinner with a reservation. All the flavors were great! Lots of combinations I wouldn't have thought of, but were delicious. Didn't have time for lots of drinks, so will be back soon. Monday they also have pizza night and half price bottles of wine. Nice ambiance. Would come back again!

Another great experience at this place such an amazing stuff, especially we were working with Pancho an amazing server that we got. He had a bright smile on his face had great recommendation of food. He was super fast. He always seem attentive and was looking for helping us and making our experience better, the ambience was great. We were able to sit at a different side of the restaurant this time. It was much quieter and we obviously got good reservation done so I recommend everybody to make reservations beforehand this place always get packed.

We happened into Extra Virgin by chance after trying to get at Farina. I am so happy that we did. First, we ought to enjoy patio dining on an unseasonably cool August night in Kansas City. The patio was a perfect spot to enjoy a small plates and a bottle of wine. We ordered the Lebanese hummus, the heirloom tomato salad, the roasted feta, the wood fired shrimp, and an off menu special of scallops. While each dish was delicious, the roasted feta was my favorite. The dukkah spice was unique and made the dish quite interesting. The wine list is very approachable with bottles at many price points. We also enjoyed outstanding service.

Love this place!! Has been consistently good, every time we have gone- and we have gone a few times! We tried several new things this time: Fried feta, bread with ricotta, ribeye we had done before- all yummy- definitely recommend! This time we did the: - Moroccan chicken (was moist, tender, flavorful!) - peri peri chicken liver (had not had it in years- enjoyed it too) - salmon w/couscous (also good), - baby eggplant (loved the fried/crisp chick peas in the accompanying sauce) - the chick pea fries - summer corn (had quite a kick to it!) For dessert we had the Turkish coffee chocolate torte and churros- like everything else these were yummy too. My kids thought these might be the best churros they have had! Great service- our server was quick, efficient, friendly, and funny! It is loud inside- but that's the vibe! Has good inside and outside seating!

I know I have been here, a few times I think...perhaps for a drinks..I know I would have remembered the food! I stopped in after a walk, wanting something healthy! This was definitely a stop worth the stopping! Chickpeas two ways, when would I ever try that? The humus sounded really good and when I saw the fried humus how could I not try that? I love to cook and have been doing the plant based thing for a while now...Fried Chickpeas..hmmm. Now these came out looking pretty amazing, I am pretty sure I posted a pic! I will have to say this left an impression! Like a mozzarella stick but with humus like stuff in the center!..turns out to be a French dish that seriously hits! This is the stop, great service , amazing food and way above average healthy food! KT
